Know who you've become Tee

Sometimes we as Christians try to work hard to become someone. But life isn't about trying to become someone. Life isn't about us, nor our reputation, nor our status on this planet. We have been bought at a high price and now our lives belong to Christ. We live to glorify Him only and not ourselves (Matthew 16:24-26). We don't belong to ourselves anymore! 

Being born again and identifying with Christ is all that matters. Choosing to identify with Christ rather than with the world sets us free from the weight of trying to stand up to the world's expectations and standards. Imagine all the work it takes in trying to become someone famous or well built in physical appearance or finances. Now imagine trying to keep that status for the rest of your life, only feeling valued when other people are watching or are very jealous of you. It's a huge weight to hold and something not worth living for since peoples opinions and standards change. If their standards change, then now YOU have to change because you only live for mans approval rather than God's approval through Christ. This is why we ought to ONLY desire God's approval and identify with Christ instead of man. That way we can truly please Him and live a truly freeing life.

Through Identifying with Christ, we already have riches, glory, and honor through the Holy Spirit (Philippians 4:19, John 12:26, 2 Corinthians 3:18). So why seek it in the world when we have it in Christ? 🤔 On top of that, how much is it worth to gain the world and lose you soul, when instead you can gain eternity and keep your soul (Matthew 16:26)?  Think about it.
